The Productive Sectors Development Programme (PSDP) is a three-year programme funded by the Government of Canada that focuses on gender-responsive job creation and economic opportunities in the agriculture and agri-food sectors, prioritizing women and female youth in disadvantaged areas. It aims at supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), cooperatives, and farmers to overcome the economic, financial, and structural challenges facing them while supporting gender-responsive job creation and helping create economic opportunities with a specific focus on women and female youth in disadvantaged areas.

The programme is implemented by six UN entities operating in Lebanon, namely UNIDO, FAO, UNDP, ILO,UN WOMEN and UNICEF. UNIDO and FAO serve as the technical advisors for the program, while its coordination is led by the Resident Coordinator’s Office.
